Retime and PayPal
Retime does not charge a card through PayPal today. Booking payments run through Stripe. If PayPal is the account you use, there are two ways to work, and a way to ask us for direct support.
What you get
A clear answer, not a promise
Stripe is the payment provider Retime supports for bookings right now.
You can still charge for a booking
A Stripe account takes cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and pays out to your bank.
A manual route works today
Keep the event type free, and send a PayPal invoice from the booking webhook or by hand.

How to connect PayPal
Decide which route fits
Pick automatic payment with Stripe, or a manual PayPal invoice after the booking.
For automatic payment, connect Stripe
Open Account, then Payments, and connect a Stripe account. Set a price on the event type.
For the manual route, add a webhook
Open Account, then Webhooks, and send booking.created to your own service. Use it to raise a PayPal invoice.
Tell the guest what happens next
Put the payment instruction in the event type description and in the confirmation message.
Ask for PayPal support
Write to [email protected] with your country and the amount you take each month.
Questions about PayPal
Can I paste a PayPal.me link into the booking page?
Yes. Put the link in the event type description. Payment then happens outside Retime, so the slot is held before you are paid.
Will Retime add PayPal?
It is not on the shipped list today. Requests from customers decide the order of work.
Does the webhook say how much to charge?
The booking payload names the event type. Your own service maps that to a price and raises the invoice.
